Went here with my friend to rent yukata for the chestnut festival happening at okunitama shrine. They were kind and welcoming. I am a taller woman (177cm) so they let me know where the longer yukatas were which helped out a lot. They were extremely helpful with obi recommendations for our yukatas and they were quick with our hair. The hair turned out great and so did the yukatas. Also side note! We are both students studying abroad in Japan from America. So this place is foreigner friendly. The staff doesn’t speak English so make sure to know at least some Japanese before going. Very wonderful experience overall! Very warm, attentive and inviting with no judgement, they helped me and my friend out with picking our yukatas and what colors they think is best.
Also, very foreigner friendly!! There are English instructions so it’s easy to follow along. On the website, they were very clear booking instructions and prices. Very easy to navigate!
A notable experience was forgetting my shirt while redressing after our yukata experience, While I was waiting for my friend to retrieve it, they brought over a chair for me and were very professional about it. It was heartwarming! HIGHLY suggest!!!
