Went to VASARA with the family to get changed into Kimonos. The ladies there were very kind and helped select our kimonos with different color and size options. They also give you a big bag with a number so you can have them hold your belongings while you explore Shibuya in beautiful kimonos. Our family had a photographer taking photos in Shibuya Sky. The process was seamless and well explained and straight forward. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a place to rent kimonos in Shibuya!

The staff were so kind and accommodating in our big group’s kimono rentals. Plus the rentals and hairstyles you have to choose from are so cute!

Staff were very friendly despite the language barrier, and tried hard to communicate via Google translate. Had a very good time! Would definitely recommend!

I enjoyed and recommend this experience. I booked the one star package and they had many options for kimono colors and I was able to easily picked one that I like. The package also comes with hairstyling and accessories. And the staff were nice:)

My mother and I went as walk-ins and were attended to immediately. We only speak English, but communication was smooth. The hairstylist was very talented, and the staff were all very kind. This was our first time trying a kimono, so I can’t compare prices, but the pink kimono (including hairstyling and next-day return fee) was 9,000 yen, while the blue kimono (also with hairstyling/accessories and next-day return fee) was 15,000 yen.
