We rented kimonos at VASARA Kimono Rental Kanazawa Station Store (VASARA 金沢駅前店) on 11 December 2025, with a pre-booked appointment. And we were completely wowed by the experience.
From the moment we arrived, the two staff members who attended to us were polite, attentive, and incredibly patient. They paid great attention to detail, carefully showed us the range of kimonos available, and offered thoughtful suggestions for accessories that complemented our choices beautifully.
The entire process from administration, to selection, to dressing was handled with such professionalism and genuine care. We never felt rushed, and every step was clearly explained. Their calm and reassuring manner made the experience both smooth and enjoyable.
We were so impressed by their outstanding service that we gave them a small thank-you card. They received it with such warmth, and even stood at the door to see us off until we entered the lift, a gesture that truly touched us.
Kanazawa is a wonderful city to experience a traditional kimono photoshoot. We visited Kenroku-en Garden and the Nagamachi Samurai District, both of which made stunning backdrops and added so much meaning to the experience.
